Class Description
Step into the graceful world of Kathak with our Beginners Batch, perfect for those new to classical dance. Under the guidance of Shweta Padwal, students will explore foundational movements rooted in the Lucknow and Banaras Gharanas (Mishra style).

Important Notes for Students 1. Dress Code - Indian wear is mandatory for class. - Recommended: Kurti, leggings, and dupatta. 2. What to Bring - Personal water bottle - Deodorant (for personal hygiene) - Sweat napkin or hand towel 3. Health & Safety Please inform the instructor before class if you're experiencing: - Any injury - Physical discomfort - Uneasiness or fatigue 4. Always perform activities at your own pace and resistance level. 5. Avoid heavy meals right before class. 6. Enrollment Note: If you plan to take a break or discontinue, kindly inform the studio or your instructor in advance. If no notice is given, your enrollment will be considered continuous and calculated from the last date of your previous enrollment. 7. Kathak Gharana Classes are based on the Lucknow and Banaras (Mishra) gharanas. 8. Certification We offer a Kathak Certification Course affiliated with: Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal
